“[UNIPOL]- waterproofing” TU 2312-001-59846005-2003
Field of application Paste is intended for the device of new and repair of the existing roofings and waterproofing in the buildings of different designation due to all climatic conditions, and also for the corrosion protection of technological equipment and conduits.
Preparation of the concrete (mineral) surface With the roofing and moisture-proof works is recommended putting paste beside several layers (each layer with the expenditure of 1 kg/sq. m.) with piling between them of the reinforcing material (fiberglass fabric, glass-fiber-reinforced canvas-like fabric the like)
Concrete surface must be flat, clean and dry (it is sustained not less than 4 weeks before the application of coating). According to SNIP (Construction norms and regulations) 3.04.03 the humidity of concrete is allowed not more than 4%. The surface of concrete must be evened and removed based on it lime milk, upper fragile layer of concrete and remainders of old coatings. This task is performed due to the grinding of concrete by mosaic- polishing machines or treatment as far as the shot-blast aggregates (selection of method it depends on the type of accomodation). After grinding it is necessary to remove dust, sand, swarf and other pollution (by vacuum cleaner). The presence on the concrete of the spots of the worked out machine oil or other chemical compositions is inadmissible.
The preparation of concrete surface is accomplished according to SNIP 3.04.03.

Putting conditions Paste should be brought down the dry, clean surface at a temperature not below minus of 15o[S] and not higher than 35o[S].
Method of the putting Putting paste is possible by the method of free pouring in, with the aid of the spatula or the roller, the brush, and also by airless dispersion.
Expenditure, the thickness of the coating Thickness coatings and, correspondingly, the expenditure of material are determined as far as the field of application, for example, for the roofing works it is recommended the thickness of 2-2,5 mm, for anticorrosive and chemically resistant coatings - 0,3 - 1,0 mm.
Tentative expenditure of the paste:
- the roofing works: depending on a constructive solution of roofing - not less than 4 [kg]/[m]2;
- the moisture-proof works: depending on the pressure head - 3-6 [kg]/[m]2;
- the corrosion protection: depending on the type of the protected object and aggressiveness of medium - 0,8-6 [kg]/[m]2. Is allowed the application of paste as the pasting material with the device of roofing with the use of roll materials (Ruberoid the like).
Time of the interlamination drying The time of drying the film of 300[mkm] at a temperature (20±2) of 0[S] down the degree “of 2” - 48, down the degree “of 3” - 120 hours, the time of reaching basic properties depends on thickness of the layer and comprises not less than 10-15 days.
The time of interlamination drying indicated is given tentative, it depends on number of the factors: the diluent used, the air circulation, ambient temperature, thicknesses film and the like and considerably it decreases with grow prettier ventilation, also, before open air.
Note: the complete set of physicomechanical properties occurs during 8 days. The collection of hardness occurs during 10-20 days depending on drying conditions of coating.
Preparation of material at the point of the work Before the application the paste must be mixed throughout entire volume, after which maintained before the putting around the disappearance of bubbles not less than 10 minutes. Sediment on the bottom of container is not allowed.
Paste before the use to thoroughly mix, if necessary (beside [t].[ch]. at low temperatures) to dilute by solvent (solvent, xylene, toluene) down the convenient consistency.
However, if putting is accomplished at a high temperature (air and/or steel), then dilution, in spite of limitation, can become exclusively necessary to avoid of dry putting. With obtaining of negative results during putting of paste it is necessary to obtain additional consultations in supplier.
Cleaning container, tool Are used solvent, xylene, toluene.
Storage Not to heat. To take care from the fire. Composition to store before the solidly closed container, protecting from the action of heat and straight solar rays. Guarantee period of storage - 6 months based on the day of production (TU 2312-001-59846005-2003).
