ANTICORROSIVE PRIMING ENAMEL [SBE]-111 “[UNIPOL]” stamp [PV] TU 2312-001-59846005-2003
Field of application Priming enamel [SBE]-111 [UNIPOL]® stamp [PV] forms anticorrosive and waterproof covering. It is intended for the putting due to the conditions of a constant water contaminability of metallic and ferroconcrete constructions (mine and tunnels), and also directly under water (repair of sea and river construction).
Surface preparation From welded joints to clean the welding slag (flux) and the layers of slag. By grinding to remove incisions, burrs, welding drops, to round off sharp edges, angles, teeth, the welds. For the removal of the interfering layers it is possible to use scrapers, chisels. Work should be performed in such a way as not to disrupt weld strength. The metallic surface of the constructions, which are subject down protection, must be cleaned tentatively down the degree St of 3 (ISO 8501-1).
Putting conditions Priming enamel is allowed to bring at an ambient temperature from 0o[S] to 35o[S].
Method of the putting Priming enamel can be brought by brush, roller.
Expenditure, the thickness of the coating The recommended thickness of coatings is 210-300 m depending on operating conditions. The theoretical flow rate of enamel for one layer 100 m composes tentatively 0,22 [kg]/[m]2. Practical expenditure depends on many factors: the equipment used, the degree of preparation and complexity (form) of surface, weather conditions, qualification of personnel and so forth
Preparation of priming enamel at the point of the work Before the application of a component of enamel thoroughly intermix throughout entire volume and they mix up before relationship 1:1 (it [komponet] №1: the component of №2) as far as the volume. The obtained paint must be uniform before the color and the consistency. Before the putting to maintain not less than 10 minutes. Then, after the thorough mixing of enamel throughout entire volume from the bucket they select 15-20% of paint and they on top flood, then cover is shut (is compulsorily airtightly) and they open already under water directly before the work. Of for achievement necessary viscosity is allowed the dilution of priming enamel to 10% of the total volume. Xylene or solvent are used as the diluents. However, if necessary, is possible the dilution of priming enamel not more than down 15%.
Dyeing of metal structures in the zone of variable level (air-to-water) Enamel contains surfactants, and water- air it On the Border forms beyond surface water of spot, i.e., it can contaminiate water area; therefore to color is necessary only under water, in this case the enamel “sits well” on the brush. With the dyeing of metal structures in the zone of variable level should be first left the not colored strip on the interface water- air, and then, when the water level is displaced upward or downward (ebb- flow), to paint this strip with the observance of requirements on the surface preparation. Before putting of enamel before the variable level “water- air” it is necessary to make the floating enclosures, which impede the propagation of pollution. After performing of work the pollution is utilized with the aid of the sorbent or by another method.
Cleaning container, tool Are used gasoline, xylene, toluene.
Storage Not to heat. To take care from the fire. Composition to store before the solidly closed container, protecting from the action of heat, the straight lines of the solar of rays and moisture. Guarantee period of storage before the hermetically sealed container of manufacturing plant - twelve months based on the day of production.
