ANTICORROSIVE PRIMING ENAMEL [SBE]-111 “[UNIPOL]” stamp [VE] TU 2312-001-59846005-2003
Field of application Priming enamel [SBE]-111 [UNIPOL]® stamp [VE] forms chemically resistant coating to such media as the concentrated and dilute acids and alkali, recirculating water and to a number of oxidizers (chromates, dichromates, permanganates so forth). Priming enamel is intended for the anticorrosive protection of steel constructions and concrete surfaces.
Surface preparation of the concrete The quality of surface preparation plays the decisive role. Concrete surface must be flat, clean and dry (it is sustained not less than 4 weeks before the application of coating). According to SNIP (Construction norms and regulations) 3.04.03 the humidity of concrete is allowed not more than 4%. Before putting of waterproofing “[UNIPOL]” the surface of concrete must be evened and removed based on it lime milk, upper fragile layer of concrete and remainders of old coatings. This task is performed due to the grinding of concrete by mosaic- polishing machines or treatment as far as the shot-blast aggregates (selection of method it depends on the type of accomodation). After grinding it is necessary to remove dust, sand, swarf and other pollution (by vacuum cleaner). The presence on the concrete of the spots of the worked out machine oil or other chemical compositions is inadmissible. The preparation of concrete surface is accomplished according to SNIP 3.04.03.
Putting conditions Enamel is allowed to bring at an ambient temperature and painted surface from minus of 25o[S] to 35o[S] and high relative humidity of air.
Method of the putting Priming enamel can bring by brush, by roller, by the methods of airless and air-stream atomization.
Expenditure, the thickness of the coating The recommended thickness of coatings is 300-500 m depending on operating conditions. The theoretical flow rate of enamel for one layer 100 m composes tentatively 0,22 [kg]/[m]2. Practical expenditure depends on many factors: the equipment used, the degree of preparation and complexity (form) of surface, weather conditions, qualification of personnel and so forth

The time of interlamination drying indicated depends on number of the factors: the diluent used, the air circulation, ambient temperature, thicknesses film and the like and considerably it decreases with grow prettier ventilation, also, before open air. The complete set of the physicomechanical properties of coating occurs during 10-12 days (t=20oC, [f]=65%).
Preparation of enamel at the point of the work Before the application to thoroughly mix priming enamel throughout entire volume with the use of a manual or mechanical tool. The obtained paint must be uniform before the color and the consistency. Sediment on the bottom of container is not allowed. Before the putting priming enamel it is necessary to maintain not less than 10 minutes. Of for achievement necessary viscosity is allowed the dilution of priming enamel to 10% of the total volume. Xylene or solvent are used as the diluents. However, if necessary, is possible the dilution of priming enamel not more than down 15%.
Cleaning container, tool Are used solvent, xylene, toluene.
Storage Not to heat. To take care from the fire. Composition to store before the solidly closed container, protecting from the action of heat, the straight lines of the solar of rays and moisture. Guarantee period of storage before the hermetically sealed container of manufacturing plant - twelve months based on the day of production.
For obtaining the additional information for the sake of the putting, the quality of surface preparation or in the case of obtaining the negative results during putting of priming enamel, to be turned at the point of the detailed consultation down the supplier
