Against the given moment there is more than 16 stamps of varnish-and-paint production under the commercial stamp Of [unipol]® - anticorrosive enamels, fire-retardant compositions, a waterproofing. These materials serve for the protection of metal and concrete in the atmosphere of industrial medium, aggressive and highly aggressive media, including there exists material for the putting directly under water.

One of the first compositions, which appeared before the rule of materials, was composition “[Unipol]- waterproofing”. Generally, any waterproofing must prevent the aggressive influence of moisture and water beyond the construction or its individual parts. Together with the basic humid load the waterproofing must render efficient opposition to three types of the action of water - ground water, pressurized water and without. Furthermore, waterproofing must be steadfast to the aggressive actions and the UV radiation. All these functions satisfies composition “[Unipol]- waterproofing” - new single-component moisture-proof, anticorrosive and chemically resistant paste.

As polymeric bonding agent the styrene-butadiene thermoplastics, protected based on the oxidation and the UV irradiation, is used.

“[Unipol]- waterproofing” is viscous fluid with the adjustable viscosity - from the easily being flowed liquid to the thixotropic paste. The physical state of paste and its viscosity are determined by customer depending on the field of application and method of putting the paste.

Putting paste is possible by the method of free pouring in, with the aid of the spatula or the roller, and also by dispersion.

Thickness coatings and, correspondingly, the expenditure of material are determined as far as the field of application, for example, for the roofing works it is recommended the thickness of 2-2,5 mm, for anticorrosive and chemically resistant coatings for the sake of 0,4 -1,0 mm.

Table gives the results of the carried out tests, which make it possible to make following conclusions. Coating on basis “[Unipol]- waterproofing” possesses high adhesive properties to the concrete surface (2,8 MPa), is crackproof and maintains the width of crack opening before the concrete 1,2 mm. putting coating system beyond to [betonuvelichit] the stamp of concrete on the waterproofness down 7 steps (W2 to W16) at a straight pressure of water and against 2 steps (W2 to W6) with the reverse, to increase frost resistance is more than 2,5 times (based on 200 to 500 cycles), to reduce the value of water absorption of concrete 2 times in comparison with the concrete without the protection.

Thus, the system of coating “[Unipol]” - waterproofing possesses high performance properties and can be [rekomendovana] for the corrosion protection of concrete and ferroconcrete constructions before the practice of civil and industrial construction in accordance with SNIP (Construction norms and regulations) 2.03.11-85, [MGSN] 2.08-01, [MGSN] 2.09-03, for waterproofing of buildings, underground structures, and also with the device of roofings.
