For the corrosion protection before the media of potassium production adapts ground of the enamel [SBE]-111 “OF [UNIPOL]” (further enamel). Single-component enamel is the solution of shale-bituminouselastomeric composition before the carbonaceous solvents for the sake of the mineral fillers.

Enamel is brought at an ambient temperature within the limits from minus of 10°[S] to +30°[S] and relative humidity to 95%. Is allowed putting enamel by means of the surface of steel, covered for the sake of the dense layer of the products of corrosion by thickness to 100 m. 4 colors are let out: red-brown, beige, gray, black.

In this work in there is interest to conduct the full-scale tests of priming enamel of beige color.

Is in parallel carried out the protection of the metal structures of groovy enclosure on the moorage of № 1 [BPKRU]-1.

Preparation at the point of the tests

For the tests are used steel plates by the size of 70[kh]150[kh]2 mm. painting plates it is produced in accordance with ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 8832-76 “materials varnish-and-paint. Methods of obtaining the paint and varnish coat for the tests” by brush beside three layers by means of the preliminarily sandblasted and degreased surface with the subsequent drying and the polymerization of paint and varnish coat before the course of 7 days.

Conducting the full-scale tests

Tests are carried out according to ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 6992-68 “coatings varnish-and-paint. Method for testing at the point of durability due to the atmospheric conditions”. Method consists before maintaining of models with the paint and varnish coat due to the atmospheric conditions with the subsequent qualitative assessment of the durability of coating about a change in the decorative and shielding properties.

  1. In the atmosphere of industrial zone [BPKRU]-1 (before open air) the action of the following factors: effect of solar radiation, the pollution of the atmosphere by corrosion-active agents.
  2. In the atmosphere of factory (above the conveyer of hot refuse of the chemical factory of t=+35°[S], W=90%). Basic parameters, which influence the shielding properties of the coating: the duration of general moistening, the pollution of the atmosphere by chlorides.

The inspection of models carries out in the course of the first three months - one time per month, in the course of the subsequent months (of up to 2nd years) - once a 3 months, after two tests - 2 times per year.

Models they wash with the aid of the sponge before warm water to the complete removal of pollution and dry in air before the inspection.

Processing the results

The evaluation of the results of natural tests was conducted accordingly:

  • ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 9.407-84 “coatings are varnish-and-paint. Method of evaluating the exterior view”. The determination of their initial properties and a change of these properties before the process of testing before the aggressive media is basic criteria during the estimation of protective coatings: a change in the color - is visual; appearance by the defect: cracks, phials, craters - it is visual; [sssostoyanie] of the base layer under the protective coating.
  • ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 15140-78 “coatings are varnish-and-paint. Method of determining the adhesion”. Tests are carried out about the method of 2 [p].2.3 by the method of lattice cuts on the 4th to ball system.
