Test record sheet regarding the adhesion of coating system with the use of enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]” of the stamp A of the external surface of cowling on the breakwater [GTS] before the North Western part of the complex: Palace of congresses beside [p].[Strelna] Tests regarding the adhesion were conducted on April 10, 2003 at a temperature of ambient air plus of 5°C.
Adhesion was determined according to GOST 15140-78 “(materials varnish-and-paint. Methods of determining the adhesion)” by the method of lattice cuts.
The essence of method consists before the putting beyond the paint and varnish coat of lattice cuts and the visual estimation of coating state about the four-scale-number system.
The overall thickness of coating system was 450-500 m. In accordance with the requirements ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 15140-78 in three measured sections of surface by abrasive paper ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 13344-78 thickness of coating system were brought to 180-200 m and at the point of each of these sections was substituted the lattice with the single square 3 x of 3 mm. lattice it consisted of 6 parallel cuts to the metal.
Adhesion was evaluated in accordance with table 1 ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 15140-78.
The carried out adhesion tests showed a good convergence of results. In all tested sections of the edge of cuts completely smooth, there is signs of exfoliation not before one square of lattice.
