Purpose of the tests: Testing enamel “[Unipol]” stamp “B” for the purpose of the determination of the following indices:
- Time of drying enamel down degree of 3 at a temperature plus of 40o[S];
- Time of drying enamel down degree of 3 at minus temperatures (minus of 25o[S], minus of 15o[S], minus of 5o[S], 0o[S])
- Possibility of putting the enamel at minus temperatures (from minus of 25o[S] to 0o[S]);
- Possibility of putting the enamel due to the conditions of the increased humidity (to 100%).

Selection and the preparation of test at the point of the tests The sampling of enamel “[Unipol]” of stamp “B” was produced by customer. In [ITS] “varnish color” the test of enamel “[Unipol]” of stamp “B” of beige was represented before the packing from the tin plate by the mass of net 0,5 kg. packing it corresponds ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 9980.3-86 “materials varnish-and-paint. Packing”. Throughout the tests the test of enamel thoroughly was intermixed.
Conducting the tests The enamel “Of [unipol]” of stamp “B” brought by brush without the additional dilution [LKM] down the plates through steel 08 KP with the size of 60x150x0,9 mm, prepared according to GOST 8832-76 “materials varnish-and-paint. Methods of obtaining the paint and varnish coat for the testing” with chg 1-3. Coating was obtained two types: thin (50-75 m) and thick (140-180 m). With conducting of experiment with +40o[S] of coating was brought due to the conditions of room temperature down the plates, preheated in the cabinet drier to +40o[S], and then they again were placed beside the cabinet drier with the temperature (40±2) of o[S], periodically checking the degree of drying. In the case of conducting the experiment at minus temperatures of plate preliminarily they placed beside the cooling chamber, and then down the cooled surface was brought enamel, coating again was placed beside the cooling chamber and was controlled the time of drying. With determination of the possibility of putting the enamel due to the conditions of the increased humidity the experiment was carried out as follows:
- Plate maintained with 0o[S] before the cooling chamber, which was filled for the sake of condensate. Condensate covered also plate. Down the slightly wiped plate they brought enamel and placed beside the cooling chamber.
- Plates were maintained before the exsiccator due to the humidity conditions of 95± 3%, created by the saturated aqueous solution of sodium sulfate. Then down the plates they brought enamel and again placed beside the exsiccator.
Results of the tests The results of tests are represented before the table.

Conclusion Is carried out the determination of the time of drying before different temperature conditions for the forming of the coatings for the sake of the enamel “Of [unipol]” of stamp “B” of beige (TU 2312-001-59846005-2003 “the enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]”. Technical specifications”), represented in [ITS] “the varnish color” of the privately held company [NPO] “Of [korrzashchita]” (Russia, Moscow, ul old [Basmannaya], [d].36, structure 2). By the favorable condition for achievement of the degree of hardening 3 and 5 by coatings the enamel “Of [unipol]” of stamp “B” is temperature conditions with (40± 2) o[S]. Due to the humidity conditions (95±3)% at a temperature (20±2) o[S] the forming of coatings down the degree of hardening 3 occurs somewhat retardedly, while with a temperature decrease down 0o[S] before conditions of 100% of humidity (the dew point) drying down degree of 3 it begins before the more short time. Further temperature decrease does not change the time behavior of drying down degree of 3, but with minus of 25o[S] after 24 hours is achieved consolidation down degree of 5. Obtained data make it possible to make an assumption about a change of the mechanism of film formation before the coatings on the basis of the enamel “Of [unipol]” of stamp “B” upon transfer from positive temperatures to the negative, at which can be observed sharp reduction in the mobility of the macros-chain of oligomeric component OF [LKM].
