1. Characteristic of materials and models, represented before the tests Priming enamel “Of [unipol]” of stamp [v] is the suspension of pigments and fillers before the solution of natural rubber- resin composition before the mixture of organic solvents. The enamel “Of [unipol]” two-component and is made on TU 2312-001-5984605-2003 “the enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]”. For conducting the tests of coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” on the concrete, by executor in the laboratory of corrosion and longevity of NIIZhB (Scientific Research Institute of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete), were prepared the control models, and also the models of concrete, intended for putting the material.
Expenditure of materials per 1 cu. m of the concrete:
- Cement 350 kgf;
- Sand 630 kgf;
- Crushed stone -1120 kgf;
- Water 175 l.
Class of concrete on the strength Of [v]22,5.
Repeated inspection and testing of the painted models is produced in two weeks.
For conducting the tests the following types of models are used:
- concrete cube samples with the size of 7x7x7[sm] for the tests at the point of adhesion, frost resistance, water absorption.
- concrete model- cylinders with the diameter of 15 cm and with a height of 5 cm, for the tests at the point of waterproofness.
- cement-sand (composition 1: 3) cube samples with the size of 7x7x7 cm for the abrasion tests.
After production concrete models were sustained in the camera of natural hardening at a temperature (20 + 5) o based on the relative humidity of air 80% during 28 days, then they were transmitted to customer for putting the material.
An application of coating on the basis of coating “[Unipol]” accomplished the representatives of customer in privately held company “[NPO] Of [korrzashchita]” in accordance with “technological instruction beyond the putting”. The surface of all concrete models, before putting of material, is freed of dust the humidity of the surface layer of concrete it comprised less than 4%. Before the putting enamel they diluted by solvent - xylene down the working viscosity of 28-[ZOs] on the viscosimeter [VZ]-246 with the diameter of nozzle 4 mm at a temperature (20+ 0,5) of o[S]. Putting priming enamel “Of [unipol]” beyond the models accomplished by a paint sprayer at a temperature of air + of 22o[S] and relative humidity (65 + 5)% before three layers with the interlayer drying of 48 hours, with the expenditure of material 0.2 kG/m. The overall thickness of coating system on the average was 350 m. Expenditure of material for one layer of coating -0.2 [kg]/[m]2 Models with the applied coating maintained throughout the tests before the accomodation with the temperature of air (20 + 5) of o[S] and the relative humidity (65 + 5)% not less than 14 days. In accordance with the calendar progress chart are by agreement carried out the tests of coating system on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” about the following indices: the determination of the waterproofness of concrete with coating “Of [unipol]” with the straight and back pressure of water, in comparison with the control models;
- the determination of the frost resistance of concrete with coating “Of [unipol]” in comparison with the control models;
- the determination of water absorption of concrete with coating “Of [unipol]” in comparison with the control models;
- the determination of adhesion strength (adhesion) of coating “[Unipol]” with the concrete; the determination of the wearability of coating “[Unipol]” in comparison with the control models.
2. DETERMINATION OF THE BASIC INDICES OF QUALITY OF COATING ON THE BASIS OF PRIMING ENAMEL “OF [UNIPOL]” ON THE CONCRETE. 2.1. The determination of waterproofness the determination of the waterproofness of concrete model- cylinders with the coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” and concrete models without the protection (control models) carried out in accordance with the requirements ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 12730.5-84 “concretes. Method of determining the waterproofness”. Tests are carried out beyond the special six-jack installation, which ensures the possibility of the water supply to lower butt end of model- cylinders and observation besides upper butt end of concrete.
Pressure raised as far as steps on 0.2 MPa, beginning for the sake of 0.2 MPa to 1,6 MPa they maintained against each step for 6 hours (with the thickness of models 5 cm). Tests continued before the appearance of signs of the filtration of water in the form of drops or wet spot beyond upper butt end. The waterproofness of a series of models was evaluated by the maximum pressure of water, with which down four of six models it is not observed the signs of the filtration of water.
For the concrete models with the coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” of testing they carried out at a straight (based on the side of coating) and reverse (based on the side of the end of model, not processed by coating) pressure of water.

2.2. Determination of the frost resistance The determination of the frost resistance of concrete models with the applied coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” and concrete models without the protection (control models) carried out in accordance with the requirements ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 10060.2-95 “concretes. Methods of determining the frost resistance”. Frost resistance determined about the accelerated method (third method) with repeated variable freezing- thawing before 5% solution of sodium chloride at a temperature minus (50±5) of o[S]. The thawing of models occurred at a temperature plus (18±2) of o[S].

The frost resistance of coating on the concrete evaluated with the number of cycles of freezing - thawing, with which before a series of six models down four it was not observed the destruction of coating (in appearance) and reduction in the value of adhesion to the concrete more than down 35% based on the initial value.
The results of freezing tests showed, the models of concrete with the coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” maintained practically without the changes 15 cycles of freezing- thawing, concrete without the protection - 5 cycles, which corresponds to stamp on the frost resistance Of f500 and F200 respectively.
2.3. Determination of water absorption Water absorption of concrete models with the coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” and control models determined with the use ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 12730.3-78 “concretes. Method of determining water absorption”. Models saturated by water with the complete sinking to a constant mass.
Water absorption (WH) was determined from the formula:
WH = (mH- mo) /mo, %where mH - mass of the water-saturated model, g; mo - mass of model up to immersion beside the water, g.
In accordance with the results of tests the value of the quantity of water absorption of concrete models with the coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” composed 2,92% off the mass, the control models of concrete (without the coating) - 4,15%.
2.4. Determination of adhesion strength (adhesion) with the base. The determination of adhesion strength of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” with the concrete carried out in accordance with ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 28574-90 “corrosion protection before the building. Of constructions are concrete and are ferroconcrete. Methods for testing the adhesion of protective coatings”. For determining the quantitative value of the adhesion of materials to the base the method of normal detachment, which is consisted before the measurement of the pulling power of coating based on the protected surface with the aid of the metallic die stuck beyond the coating and the dynamometer, was used.
They calculated the value of the adhesion (R) of material about the formula:

The results of determining the adhesion of coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” to the concrete showed that the coating possesses high adhesive properties. The value of adhesion is 3,0 MPa, in this case the nature of detachment - interlayer.
2.5. Determination of the wearability of coating on the concrete Testings of cement-sand models with the coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” and cement-sand models without the protection (control models) about the index wearability carried out in accordance with the requirements ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 13087-81.
Models tested on the test circle [LKI] - 3, the buffing pellet of № 16 according to GOST 3647-80. The full wave of tests lasted four cycles. The lower bound of model was subjected down abrasion. Throughout the testing the models weighed and was measured the area of the grated face employing procedure ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 10180-78.
The wearability of concrete on the circle of abrasion G beside [g]/[sm]2, characterized as far as the loss of the mass of model, is determined with the error to 0,1 [g]/[sm] for the separate model about the formula

At the point of the value of the wearability of coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” we assume the average wearability, obtained experimentally, i.e. Gcp = of 0,728 [g]/[sm]2. The control models of concrete have a value of wearability equal to 0,852 [g]/[sm]. according to GOST 13015.0-83 both series of models they correspond to the constructions, which work before the conditions of small traffic volume (elements of the stairs of habitable buildings, cover plate of pavements before the interblock passages and the like).
3. General conclusions. The results of the tests of the system of protective coating on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” of stamp [v] (TU 2312-001-5984605-2003) on the concrete about the basic qualitative indeves in comparison with the concrete without the protection are given before generalized Table 6. The results of the carried out tests make it possible to make following conclusions.
Coating system on the basis of priming enamel “Of [unipol]” of stamp [v] possesses high adhesive properties to the concrete surface (3.0 MPa).
