Testing coating systems on the basis of paints of privately held company “[NPO] Of [korrzashchita]” down the weather resistance according to GOST 9.401-91 due to the conditions of the moderate and cold climate (methods 5,6)

1 INTRODUCTION

2.1 characteristic of the materials
Enamel of stamp AM - TU 2312-001-59846005-03.
Enamel of stamp ATs - TU 2312-001-59846005-03.

2.2 characteristic of the models
For the tests the following system of coating was undertaken.
System
Enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]” stamp ATs - 80 m
Enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]” stamp AM - 160 m
Overall thickness - 240 m.
By models for the tests served purified after shot-blast method the degreased plates by the size of 150x70x2 mm.
The tested paints were brought by air-stream atomization. Drying was achieved due to the natural conditions at a temperature t = of 18±2oC.
The prepared models of coating were maintained throughout the testing during 7 days at room temperature.

2.3 test procedure
Accelerated climatic testings of the decorative and shielding properties of coatings were conducted according to GOST 9.401-91 “[ESZKS]. Coatings are varnish-and-paint. General requirements and the methods for accelerated tests at the point of resistance to the action of climatic factors” for the operating conditions of the moderate and cold climates (method 5; method 6).
The sequence of displacement and the duration of endurance of models before the apparatuses and the regimes of tests are given before tables 1 and 2

2.4 results of the tests
The results of the accelerated tests of the shielding and decorative properties of coatings due to the conditions of the moderate and cold climate are given before Table 3.

The estimation of coating state before the process of tests carried out according to GOST 9.407 “[ESZKS]. Coatings are varnish-and-paint. Methods of evaluating the exterior view” according to the data of visual inspection.
The analysis of the results of tests showed that the tested systems of coatings preserved practically shielding properties without the changes: after 140 cycles of tests it is evaluated by the mark Of [a]31, decorative properties are evaluated by mark [AD]2 (insignificant lightening and [pomatovenie]).

2.5 determination of the physicomechanical properties

The physicomechanical properties of coatings were determined in accordance with ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 4765 “materials varnish-and-paint. The methods of the evaluation of the strength of films with the impact” and ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 15140 “materials are varnish-and-paint. Methods of determining the adhesion” (method of lattice cut). The results of checking the initial and after climatic testings physicomechanical properties of coatings are given before Table 4.

As can be seen from table 4, adhesion practically did not change; the strength of film with the impact did not change.

3 THE CONCLUSIONS

1 tested system of coating firm- producer privately held company “[NPO] Of [korrZashchita]” for the corrosion protection of metal structures and bridge bridge spans corresponds to requirements ALL-UNION STATE STAN. 9.401-91, methods 5, 6.

2 coating, which consists besides the materials of firm- producer privately held company “[NPO] Of [korrZashchita]” withstood the tests: during 140 cycles ensures weather resistance due to the conditions of the moderate and cold climates not less than 15- TI of years.
