Before the period based on the beginning November 2001 until April 2002 was produced the work on the protection of metal structures from the action of aggressive media (the mineral fertilizers) on “the complex on the overload of the mineral fertilizers” beside the 4- ohm the region of the seaport Saint Petersburg. For the protection adapted the priming enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]”.

1. Station of unloading the railroad cars (СРВ) Time of performing work: November December 2001.
Protection circuit of the metal structures:
- at the plant of producer - surface preparation, ground [EP]-0199 (thickness 50-60 m.);
- after installation the surface was cleaned for the sake of water jet under the pressure 190 atm. by apparatuses “Karcher”, then was brought priming enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]” beside 2 layers (overall thickness of coating - 240-400 m.) by the method of airless dispersion besides apparatuses of the type “Wagner”, coating was brought due to the conditions of the reduced temperature: from minus of 10°[S] to plus of 3°[S] and increased humidity (snow, rain).

Time of performing work: March- beginning April 2002. Metal structures: the carrying columns, cross bar, connection.
Metal structures are grounded BY [EP]-0199 at the plant of producer, after hydro-jet cleaning putting priming enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]” beside 2 layers (overall thickness of coating - 260-290 m.). Works were conducted with reduced temperatures, high humidity and wind.
Results of the inspection At present, the state of anticorrosive coating ([SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]”), on the objects outlined above, is in the following state:
- the visible disturbances it is not discovered (exfoliation, there are no peelings, bubbles, the point of corrosion are absent);
- the surface of the treatment of red-brown color, lusterless;
- adhesion is satisfactory (1 mark).
Conclusion About the results of the inspection of the state of anticorrosive coating of the metal structures given above, it is revealed, that due to the extreme environmental conditions priming enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]”, proved to be singularly acceptable material for their protection.
State of coating - good.
Conclusion - To recommend the application of priming enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]” for the protection of metal structures from the corrosion on the second turn “of complex on the overload of the mineral fertilizers” beside the 4- ohm the region of the seaport Saint Petersburg.
- We consider expedient, to carry out protection by polymeric composition (priming enamel [SBE]-111 “Of [unipol]”) and other objects of the seaport.
